SURPRISE!
Late yesterday afternoon, I received quite a surprise! Despite the calendars anticipated arrival date of Monday, the Fed Ex truck pulled into my yard with 11 boxes of precious cargo!! When the driver saw me cheering at my door, he yelled out “Boy, I’ve got a lot of stuff for you!” Indeed he did! He even took a moment to stop and snap a picture, noting it was the first time he’d ever felt famous delivering anything before!
Yes!!! The Dream Calendars have arrived, and they are beautiful! I could hardly contain the tears that were welling up in my eyes as I scanned page after page of each amazing child and their incredible stories, now waiting to be shared!
So, the next question that I know your begging to ask is, “How can I start purchasing my calendars today?”
There are going to be several options available to you including online and local purchasing.
However, the first major opportunity to get your hands on some of these calendars will be this Saturday, November 15th at the Visions of Sugar Plums Boutique held at First Baptist Church of Temple TerraceThis event includes over 30 unique vendors and the opportunity for continuous shopping from 10am-3pm. Tickets are $10.00 each and include lunch! All ticket sales will benefit WEE World, a preschool ministry of FBCTT. Annie Agarwal Photography will have a booth for calendar purchasing and Fairy Princess Clothing, who provided the adorable outfits for the girls to wear during their sessions, will be there as well! It’s the perfect time to start your holiday shopping, beginning of course with a Dream Calendar for everyone on your list! If you are interested in purchasing a ticket to attend, please contact First Baptist Church Temple Terrace at 813-988-1138 or email me at annieagarwalphotography@gmail.com
Several local businesses have also agreed to sell the calendars in their establishments. I will post specific information once they have them ready for sale.
In addition, some parents of The Dream Calendar models and other community members have graciously volunteered to sell the calendars! Many Wauchula friends have also inquired about purchasing the calendars. You may see Dee or Gerald Shackelford, my awesome parents, if you would like to offer your support to this worthy cause! If you are interested in volunteering to help sell The Dream Calendar, please contact me directly for more information.
Finally, we will be providing an online option for those who are out of state or would just prefer the ease of this method. Please note, however, that shipping and handling rates will apply.
Thank you so much to all of the sponsors, volunteers, family and friends who have made this dream a reality! It’s now my goal to sell all 1,000 calendars, so that we can grant many children the opportunity to see their dreams come true as well! Start spreading the word and I’ll keep updating this blog with more information soon!
