Whew, I can hardly believe that it’s a New Year already! I always love the fresh beginnings and new starts that seem to come with the celebration of January 1st!

Bright and early on New Years morning I had the privilege of capturing sweet little Emma’s six month old session while she was in town visiting her Lola and Papi.

Then yesterday, I had the sweet surprise of discovering we were published over at Rustic Wedding Chic, with images from Ben and Melissa’s big day! (Head over and leave them some love!)

This morning I had the pleasure of visiting with a great couple over coffee about their upcoming wedding and I round out week 1 of 2013 tomorrow morning with a senior session!

I’m super excited to see what this year brings and I look forward to documenting much of it right here on the blog, so you can share this awesome experience together with me!

Eeeekkk!! I’m not sure I’ve been this excited in awhile over a blog post!

So, apparently, we’re starting off our summer with lots of sickness! Better to get it all over with the first few weeks I suppose.

Well, last night’s date night turned terribly sour when my stomach decided it had officially caught the bug. In fact,  our quiet evening out lasted just long enough for my sweetie to run in to CVS and pick up peppermints and Ginger Ale!

While recovering today on the couch, I got the sweet email that one of our maternity sessions had been featured on The Indie Tot! It was just what the doctor ordered!

When I saw that Storyboard Weddings was compiling shoe shots, I was super excited! I love LOVE shoes! I especially adore seeing what brides select for their special day and I believe there is so much to be said about her personality, just by glancing down at her feet!

Gone are the days of plain white pumps. Now, anything goes and that’s the fun and beauty of it!
