Welcome to my blog, the place where you'll see glimpses of the fun I experience each time I have the honor of capturing abundant moments full of life, love and laughter for people just like you! I enjoy sharing tid bits from my sessions, but occasionally you might see a post of some of the dearest people in my own life: my incredible husband Rahul or perhaps one of our four children (yes, 4)... Collin, Griffin, Eden Grace and Matthan. They are my constant inspiration! I look forward to getting to know you, whether we meet over a cup of coffee or just chat via email. Take a look around, leave a comment or two and check back often- you never know what surprises might be waiting!
Blessings Always, Annie
Yesterday, I had the honor of capturing Leah and David’s wedding. I know there are lots of family and friends who are eager to see how beautiful the pictures are, so this one’s for them… a little sneak peek just moments after David saw his stunning bride for the first time. The love is just dripping off of this picture!
What an incredible first week with this new blog! A total of 34 comments were posted in just a few short days. Thank you for participating and sharing your thoughts. That’s exactly what makes a blog work so well and I love hearing from each of you. There were so many great remarks, but I especially loved that Ashleigh’s grandfather posted a little tid bit as well…I’m just sad he doesn’t enjoy Starbucks!
Here’s part of what he said:
“An outstanding job. Captured sentimentality as best as it was. Of course my favorite is Ashleigh and I walking down the aisle. A real dream come true for me as I had laid in bed with a heart attack hoping to God that He would give me enough time to do just what I did…”
It is such an honor to be a part of memories that will last forever and capturing Ashleigh and her granddaddy seeing each other for the first time is a moment I’ll always remember!
Now… on to the contest!
This morning was quite busy in the Agarwal house, but just after swimming lessons for our 3 older ones, I slipped them outside to pick the winner of the Starbucks gift card. Of course, summer time and green grass also means lots of Ring Around the Rosie! So, I promised them when the name was selected they could have a little fun!
Here’s how it went:
Congratulations Jessica!!
A gift card will be in your mailbox soon.
I also happen to know that the winner is expecting a sweet little baby in the Fall; and we’ve already been talking about fun maternity and newborn sessions! You’ll surely be in love when you see what we’ve got planned!!
Keep checking back and posting, posting, posting those comments!
Wow! You guys are rockin’ it on this new blog! Lots of comments are being posted (you have until Sunday to leave yours for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card) and on the first full day with this new site, we were just shy of 200 hits!! Way to go and thanks for spreading the word!
Don’t forget to keep checking back and to keep leaving those comments too! Now, on to the exciting new pictures!
You may remember these cute kiddos from some of my previous sessions and work with the Dream Calendar. This morning, I met up with them again to celebrate Gabriel’s first year! How cool that today was actually his birthday! He brought along his big sister and brother too for a few sibling shots.
These little ones are so precious with their blond hair and sparkly eyes and their mom is so incredibly sweet. I love having clients that grow with me; and it’s an honor celebrating such awesome milestones with them on a regular basis!! Anytime these 3 children step in front of the camera, something magical happens- just check out a few of my faves from our time together and you’ll see what I mean.
Oh, and don’t miss the humor in the soda pics! Their last name is Jones!
Thanks Kelsey for another amazing get together. Your kids were incredible this morning! Without a doubt, you’re going to have lots of images to remember this special day! And, of course, Happy Birthday Gabriel! Thanks for letting me carry you around and for being so much fun to watch! You are a heart breaker for sure! I hope you enjoyed your ice cream cupcakes tonight, as much as you guys enjoyed the one this morning!!
Enjoy…and post, post, post those comments!

I’ve been wanting a fresh and fun updated look for awhile now and needed just the right post to start it off. Ashleigh and Gordon were clearly the perfect couple to launch this new site!! Thanks to my extra talented hubby and some pretty sweet images, I introduce you to the new annie agarwal photography blog!
This will surely be a long post ( I’m just warning you), but hang on until the end and you just might be the one enjoying a sweet treat on me!!
I had the pleasure of meeting this bride and groom through the USF BCM, where my husband is the director. A few months down the road, Ashleigh joined a Bible Study I was leading and I grew to both admire and love her. She is a shining example of a woman of God and her love for Gordon is so inspiring!
When they got engaged I secretly hoped she would pick me to capture their amazing day, so when I got the request I couldn’t have been happier. I knew it was going to be an incredible celebration!
Enjoy these images from their special day, don’t forget to watch their video at the end of this post and be sure to enter the posting contest!!
I started off the morning super early with the beautiful bride. Her first stop Starbucks… and would you believe that she enjoyed another one before the ceremony as well? That’s my kind of girl!!
Ashleigh had a custom designed hand crafted gown! Check out some of these details shots, including her super adorable shoes!
I love this series of Ashleigh seeing her mom for the first time.
The light in Ashleigh’s room was so beautiful. I love the way it wraps around her in this one!
Since my parents are also photographers, I often have the pleasure of working with them. On this morning, my mom joined me as a second shooter. I am in love with this image she captured!
A few days before the wedding, rain seemed to have settled in; and we got a little concerned about the outdoor venue. Ashleigh and Gordon decided on seeing each other before the ceremony in order to make sure we had ample sunshine to capture some fun images. I was so excited, as these first look moments are always priceless! Seeing each other ahead of time also eliminates “the rush” that often occurs once the ceremony is complete.
P.S.- If you’re wondering about doing something like this on your special day, Ashleigh will vouch for how awesome it was, but the pictures alone might convince you!
Despite the fact that the forecast called for a 60% chance of rain, it was SUPER HOT and SUPER SUNNY! We ended up driving around Main Street to keep Ashleigh and Gordon cool for their couple shots. When I spotted the side of this building, I simply couldn’t resist! After all, our prayers had been answered!!
This was another one of those “I can’t resist” moments! This time we were on foot, and as we walked by this store, I asked Ashleigh and Gordon if they were excited about their honeymoon. This was the response I got…what great sports!
After a little more time outside, we decided to move inside to cool down. We quickly found this great little treasure, a beautiful place to take family formal pictures. It ended up being the perfect spot to take a few of the bride and groom too!
I love Ashleigh’s enthusiastic expression when she was finally announced as Mrs. Grooms!! Yes, Grooms is her new last name! Great for a wedding huh?!
Of course, I couldn’t leave out a first dance picture. I love how they’re gazing into one another’s eyes, as if no one else is around!!
Finally, here’s a slideshow of Ashleigh and Gordon’s entire day. When I heard the first song in their video a few months ago, I knew that I wanted to use it for them- it just seemed so perfect! Oh, and be sure to watch for a few special moments from the day:
Ashleigh sipping on more coffee (you’re about to learn why that’s so important!)
The bonnet Gordon’s grandmother gave him at birth, turned into a handkerchief that Ashleigh carried with her during the ceremony
The denim jacket that was worn by Ashleigh and some of her bridesmaids at various stages in their life (they wrote secret little jokes and messages inside and passed it around). It was adorable worn with her dress!
The incredible emotion when Ashleigh sees her grandfather coming to walk her down the aisle. Seriously, I was wiping away tears too. It was so precious!
Enjoy!
AND…Now for the contest! I know there are some of you out there who secretly view the blog, but never leave any comments! I get emails all the time that say, “I’m a blog stalker and now I want to schedule a session of my own!” So, here’s your chance to share a little love.
Just post a comment below, leaving me your name and email address in the contact form. In the comments, be sure to share: 1) your favorite image from Ashleigh and Gordon’s wedding post and 2) your favorite drink at, yep, STARBUCKS, in honor of Ashleigh! The winner of their very own Starbucks gift card will be announced Monday morning right here on the blog!
Start sharing and start posting!!
Thanks Ashleigh and Gordo for allowing me to be a part of your special day! It was an honor and a blessing to witness you committing your lives to one another forever. May God pour out His richest blessings on your marriage!
